As strategy lead on the Noodle.ai rebrand, I helped Ueno’s design team digest and synthesize a large amount of client input and desk research into key insights that formed the foundation of a very successful engagement. As a high-value data science startup with many vocal stakeholders, the challenge was helping the client to narrow their focus, home in on their key differentiating qualities and gain consensus around a cohesive strategy and design direction.

Math is at the heart of everything Noodle does, and they like to have a little fun with it. AI and data science are very heady subjects, so the company culture balances the seriousness with a hint of humor.This came through in the website content strategy, which outlines a protocol for where—and where not— to insert puns, and in company T shirts and baby onesies printed with slogans like “QTπ” … Get it?
