Mag+ Tablet Publishing Platform
During my tenure as U.S. head of R&D at Bonnier, my team created the very first publishing platform for tablets, which Steve Jobs unveiled onstage during the 2011 iPad launch. My team’s mission was to create both a novel reading experience and a new revenue model for the faltering magazine industry. One of our major initiatives was the development of novel ad formats that leveraged the native capabilities of the iPad, bringing magazines to life in entirely new ways. The ads were created in partnership with creative agency CP+B, and won a Webby award.
